I think the car got over heated when radiator was damaged and lost all fluid. Car starts but takes time and smells like gas. Fuel pressure is good. Battery is good. I think head gasket might need replacement. Any recommendations? Is this difficult to do?

Do a compression test to see if you need to redo the head gasket.

Have any codes?

Did not do compression check. Replaced the damaged radiator. Filled it up with fluid. Started car. started shooting fluid out the radiator cap. Car seems to be putting compression into coolant system. Could smell gas in radiator.

Compression test it. Or risk replacing a head gasket that you didn't need to.
