Hi everyone!
Looking for some help with my 07 Cobalt. Several days ago, it started overheating. I added more coolant and that didn't fix the problem so I installed a new thermostat and that cooled it down. Since then, I've been able to drive it several times. But this morning the engine won't turn over. I get a check engine light as soon as I start to turn the key and the engine tries to start but I can't get it to go over. Any suggestions on what it could be?

Still no start though?

Your ignition missile might be toast.

The check engine light is on but my code reader isn't picking anything up. Everything seems good fuel-wise I'm just not getting an spark. Tried a different camshaft angle sensor but it made no difference.
Any other ideas for things I can try myself or should it just be taken to a pro?
Also, what is an ignition missile? I can't find anything about that anywhere...

Heh.... Typo, ignition module is what I meant.

The check light is on when the engine isn't running, perfectly normal.

With the plugs attached to the coil and grounded on the valve cover is it still not sparking?
