1. No they won't melt the housings if installed properly
2. No they shouldn't flicker. If they do, check your connections or buy a new kit.
Actually this has been brought up before. I know Shaggy didn't want to do it because it would take posts away from the forum and instead members would be using the chat box for most of their activity.
He didn't want post count to go down do too the number of "active" members we really have...

^I don't think he can get CCFL Halo Replacements.
I believe the GEN 1 basically has one led that lights up the whole ring. If you want CCFL halo's, get GEN 2.

For map lights and license plate you want the 4 LED 194 Wedge Bulbs. 4 is just as bright as 6 and if you get anymore, they head of the bulb might be too big to fit in the license plate hole socket.

Yeah, that's what I'm about to do when I get a chance. :(
My fuses and bulbs/ballasts work. My turn signal and high beams work but not my low beam on my drivers side.
I don't know what else to try. I'm not very electrical literate.
