    Do you still have the 3 bolts that used to hold your Alternator to the Block? AKA: the ones that come stock on the 2.2L/2.4L? I've still got my Alt on the LSJ's Tensioner Bracket/Spacer.

    Have you looked at the Vulcan Log Manifold? It would work for you... and it isn't cast either. www.VulcanTurbo.com Either way, make sure that you DEI Exhaust Wrap the manifold... it'll put more heat into the Turbo which will help with spool, and it'll keep some heat out of the engine bay...

    I know of someone that has. But I think he is done helping out people on Cobalt Sites. Have you tried looking in the Build Book? I don't remember whether or not they talked about them in there.

    I had two CSS Stickers on my car. I removed them, for good reason. :lol: I think this is all that I have now. I might have an Amsoil one under the hood, as well.

    Buying used Redline or ss/sc

    If you are going to buy something to use at the track... then buy the Redline. Its lighter from the factory, from what I remember. You should be able to pick up an 05 Redline fairly cheaply these days. Should be cheaper than a Cobalt, as well.

    I don't have any links. Quaife only offers 1 LSD to the public and it is already in our transmissions, AFAIK. I had heard rumors that the LSD that they sold seperately is better than the one GM put into our cars, and that's only because GM didn't want to put the top of the line part in there...

    I'd almost wanna put money on the fact that you raced a Mazda 3... not a Mazdaspeed 3. The trap speeds are what give it away. Horrible launch or not... a Speed3 will usually trap a good 10mph more than that in the 1/4.
