    Gas Milage

This. The only time I reach 3000rpm is: 1) Up a decently steep hill 2) I HAVE to in order to get on the interstate safely (i.e. early morning traffic, you gotta get in when you can) 3) it's an emergency I normally ease on the gas & the car will shift at 2000 to 25000 RPM. It also depends on...

I'm shocked. With Savannah's traffic, I figured they would.

Get a strut bar. I found the DC Sports one for $101 shipped from Cali to here in Georgia. Installed it in about 20 minutes, and I love it. It's a good start.

I believe that also requires a tune to not throw the CEL. Plus, if the OP still lives in a place that requires it to pass emissions, he'd probably also fail that. I love living in middle Georgia. The only place that requires emissions is Atlanta. And maybe Savannah.

    Savannah, GA Anyone?

    Not quite. Macon.

Since you don't have a location showing, I would like to mention this before you buy any intake related mods. Some states (California mostly), starting sometime in 2006, got cars with a Secondary Air Injection system. If you have this, only 1 performance intake (K&N) is confirmed to fit &...

08 LS, looking to customize, any opinions cosmetic or performance

I imagine the real reason for a decrease in mileage from it being cold has nothing to do with the intake, and more to do with the engine has to work harder to keep itself warm. The engine usually tries to dump more fuel to make a bigger combustion to warm up to operating temp faster, and if it...

    Gas Milage

^^ What he said. When I drive, unless absolutely necessary (passing, getting on the interstate in the big city sometimes you just HAVE to gun it, etc), I barely ever even reach 3K on the tachometer. Drving like a jerk sucks your mileage down more than anything else. Some people say using...

08 LS, looking to customize, any opinions cosmetic or performance

Understood. Everywhere I looked for it (when I was researching how to locate it on mine) said "in late 2006, they added SAI" without any further info. Luckily, I don't have it either.

    LT Sway Bar upgrade

Gotcha, and thanks a lot. With this info, I can move forward with getting new sway bars.

He said it was a 2008. As far as I'm aware of, they added SAI in late 2006, correct? Or was that for 2006 only? And in case I was wrong, that is also why I added the info needed to check if he did or not.

    LT Sway Bar upgrade

I don't need anything quite that extreme. It's a DD more than anything. I use it to deliver pizzas in, as well as my wife driving it. I would get better mileage by being able to take more speed into turns, thus not making me reaccelerate as much, and my wife will be less likely to flip it by...

08 LS, looking to customize, any opinions cosmetic or performance

I believe you have a model wih secondary air injection, so on the exhaust side, you'll only be able to do a cat-back. If you see a rubber hose between the sensor next to the air box & the strut mounts, you have SAI. As far as I've seen, nobody yet makes a header for the cars with SAI, and only...

    LT Sway Bar upgrade

I read about that problem as well, but I also read that they redesigned the rear bar. Have you had a problem with the TTR rear bar breaking at the welds? I've seen a few people have that issue.

    LT Sway Bar upgrade

Would the rear Eibach work the same way? I know it's a little pricer, but I've worked with Eibachs before, so it may just be a brand preference.

How have you improved your fuel economy?

With a combo of street & highway, our econ meter is steady around 27-28 MPG, although I think I need to fix something, because before my wife was forced off the road (knocked a wheel out of alignment, the BTSI broke, etc), it was averaging about 35 MPG combo driving the way I drive it. I'm...

    LT Sway Bar upgrade

I've been reading around trying to find a good upgrade for the sway bars, but I've run into 2 problems that I could use some help with. 2006 Cobalt LT Auto tranny (wife refuses to learn stick, and it's a shared vehicle) My two problems are this: 1) I keep getting different numbers from...
