    Need a Performance chip

You are not going to be able to do that without forced induction. With your 800, that would get you a respectable suspension set up and I would use your money for that and then save up to supercharge/turbo

I'm asking what sort of hp/tq numbers are you ultimately looking to get out of your car?

    Need a Performance chip

    >< no cobalt/g5 has a v6... and you wouldn't have enough room in the engine bay. if you wanted to swap for a forced induction set up, it's best just to build your own set up. it would be more than it's worth to swap a 2.0 into it

    Need a Performance chip

never buy a "chip" you'll get bad gas mileage and get laughed at... also, the only way you're going to get a significant amount more HP and torque is to go a forced induction route

gm had a recall for the electronic steering... it's a free replacement, call the dealer

    2005 Cobalt Vacuum Leak

jesus christ your engine is dusty.. have you tried your air filter? that picture is your evap tube. to save you about 30 bucks from gm, just go buy some vacuum hose and a couple zip ties and put it on the evap to the throttle body

    battery indicator lite

first off, this was posted almost 2 1/2 years ago, so they probably figured out the problem. second, there's no fan belt on these cars. they're electronically controlled. third, it would've potentially been the alternator or as stated, just my 2 cents

    Bucking and stalls

i have a spare used 02 sensor if you wanna try that. the crank sensor can throw multiple things due to that being the primary sensor of the engine. i would suggest going to a shop and getting a crank relearn done though... if they want to charge you 30 minutes labor, tell them to f*** off...

    Bucking and stalls

so you need a new map, new maf, new cam positioning sensor, new crankshaft positioner sensor, new o2 sensor. i would personally just try replacing the crank sensor first because that could potentially spark all those codes itself

    Cobalt lt to ss question!

is there anything wrong with it? does it burn oil or leak any fluids? if you do a stock pulley and a good tune, it should hold up

    Moar Gauges!!!!

The aeroforce that works with your ecu. Go to their website and it will tell you which one you need. Otherwise zzp, ottp or modern performance has it too

    Moar Gauges!!!!

Yup. Interceptor tells you everything your computer is reading. It has a wideband function if you spend extra money for the sensor and adapter. But to be honest, I like seeing my afrs at all times and I'd like to know what else is going on with everything else at the same time

    MPG lessening quickly!?!?!

put some injector cleaner in your gas tank and replace your plugs
  19. B

    Moar Gauges!!!!

it's not hard at all. positive wires can be tapped into a fuse and the negative wire obviously just to a piece of metal bolted down. i would suggest getting a wideband and an interceptor gauge with zzp's triple pod

    Transmission Swap

You can remove the tranny by removing the driver side suspension and lowering the cradle. If taking out the engine through the top, you don't have to touch the cradle. But dropping the trans mount bolts and moving the tranny aside helps a lot

stock 2.4 naturally aspirated to turbo or supercharged?

you could also sell the SC stuff. also keep in mind that GM (i don't believe) has a tune for the 2.2/2.4 to supercharge them. you'll have to get trifecta or hpt

    Balance shaft TDC position?

if you didn't take the chain for the balance shafts off, no. unless there's slack. but i would suggest possibly getting a new balance shaft chain tensioner at the very least

stock 2.4 naturally aspirated to turbo or supercharged?

if you're under warranty still on your sc, then no it's not a good idea. if your warranty is up and you're looking for more power, then yea i guess. it all depends on what your power goals are. and make sure you get a good tune or you'll blow it up. yes you can swap the parts from your LSJ to...
